The Campground is open April 1st- November 29th. 

It is complete with on site water pump for you and your horses. Vault toilets & obstacle course. 

Nestled in the woods just a few miles from beautiful Gun Lake. 

All campsites have Picket Poles.

Reservations are through the Michigan DNR as this is a state campground.  YSTRA (this site) are volunteers who assist in the care and maintenance of these trails. Any issues with reservations should be directed to the MIDNR. 

After clicking the below link, be sure under the drop down, "Park" you chose the Yankee Springs Recreation Area for our campground. 

Camp Sites 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 12 ,14, 17, 19 ,21, 22 & 25

have corrals. Book your stay by clicking the above link under "campsite reservations". 

Remember, "Pack it IN- Pack it OUT."

Do not leave manure, bedding, hay, feed or anything else that you brought, behind when you leave. "Leave no trace." and clean up before you go. 

Above is a photo of stalls that were not cleaned after someone camped for the weekend. Not cleaning stalls causes additional work for your volunteers. Please be courteous and pick up after you and your horses.
