We are a group who care for the equestrian trails and campground.
We work closely with the DNR and our equestrian community to bring you the best trails, campground, and events.

A full weekend of fun at Yankee is planned just for YOU!
Here's the event details...
9am-10am Register for the costume & campsite contest.
Costume contest starts at 11am SHARP.
Below are the age groups and their time slots.
0-8yrs of age- 11am
9-12yrs of age- 11:15am
13-15yrs of age- 11:30am
16-19yrs of age- 11:45am
Adults- 12pm
Campsite judging will immediately follow the adult costume time slot. Judges will be walking around camp starting approximately at 12:15pm
Sign up for the 50/50 raffle and win some cash with Yankee!
POT LUCK- 1pm
Bring a dish to pass.
Your YSTRA board members will be supplying chili, corn bred, donuts & cider.
We will announce the winners of the costume contest and the campsite decorating at the potluck.
Are you ready for a SPOOKY ride?
The Billy the Kid trail will be decorated the day of the event for you to enjoy!
Trick or Treating will start around dusk!
Visit our campers and get some yummy treats!
This event is open to the public. Bring your friends, your family and more importantly...don't forget that pony!

We have a mix of easy/moderate trails for all levels of riders!
Mostly, yes!
Our 4 and 6 mile trails are designated, "equestrian".
You will find that they intersect hiking trails. Please stay on your designated trails.
The 9 mile has a small section that is shared use. Please note signs when entering the 9 mile as to where that shared section begins and ends.
As with any state campgrounds, you must reserve at midnr.com . See our Campground information tab for more information.
Emergencies should be reported to the DNR at (269)795-3280.
Example- Wasps on the trail, loose dogs, injuries to riders....
Non- Emergencies may be reported to our Facebook page directly.
