Staging Area Location

1/4 Mile west of camp on Duffy Road. Please look for the "Staging Area" signs on the North side of Duffy Road. If you enter the campground to day ride, you are not at the staging area.

Types of trails

We have a mix of easy/moderate trails for all levels of riders!

The 4 & 6 Mile trails are located in the Yankee Springs Recreation area. These trails are open year round for your use. The 9 mile is located in the Game Area and closes Oct. 1st through Jan. 1st.

Are the trails for equestrians only?

Mostly, yes!

Our 4 and 6 mile trails are designated, "equestrian".

You will find that they intersect hiking trails. Please stay on your designated trails.

The 9 mile has a small section that is shared use. Please note signs when entering the 9 mile as to where that shared section begins and ends.

How do I reserve a campsite?

As with any state campgrounds, you must reserve at midnr.com . See our Campground information tab for more information.

How do we report trail issues?

Emergencies should be reported to the DNR at (269)795-9081.

Example- Wasps on the trail, loose dogs, injuries to riders....

Non- Emergencies may be reported to our Facebook page directly.
